Inside the game
What you’ll actually be doing.

Raise the army
All four troop types train in the Barracks, which also shows how much food your army eats every hour.

Research the edge
Production, military, defense and scouting research. Each level adds a few percent, and the levels add up.

Collect the spoils
Equipment comes in levels, and the materials for your next title (nuggets, gems, medals, scepters, crowns) pile up as you play.

Build together
Your alliance founds a city of its own, with its own buildings, army and resources, paid for from a shared treasury.
Every time you come back, your kingdom is bigger.

Grow
Upgrade fields and buildings. Wood, stone, iron and food keep coming in while you’re away, up to what your warehouse can hold.

Train
Turn resources into infantry, cavalry, archers and catapults. Watch the food: every troop eats, every hour.

Take
Hold oases for resources and forts for gold, and raid castles for treasure. Other players want the same ground.

Rise
Finished buildings, trained troops, hunts and won battles all earn prestige. Each new title lets you hold more.
Strategy, not waiting
A game of decisions, not timers.
Timers build your city. Everything else is up to you: what to train, where to march, what to research, and what to do when the battle starts.
You command every round.
Battles play out in rounds, and between them you decide what each troop type does. Those orders are often the difference between losing an army and winning without losses.

- Forward
- Close in and fight. Archers and catapults ordered forward charge too.
- Wait
- Hold position. This is how archers and catapults shoot from range.
- Backward
- Give ground. Catapults that fall back can’t be hit by melee that round.
Rounds come 30 seconds apart. After round 20, a defender with anything left standing wins.
Four troops, four jobs.
Cavalry win races, archers and catapults win at range, and infantry hold the line cheaply. Every unit eats, so the army you can field depends on the farms behind it.

Per unit, in the game’s classic combat. Food is eaten every hour, at home or on the march.
A map worth fighting over.
Six hundred tiles a side, shared by every player. The map refreshes every 12 hours, so there is always something new to take.

Oases
Levels 1 to 10
Wood, stone, iron or food. Hold one for a flat hourly bonus to the city that took it, or hunt it for loot. A held oasis loses a level every 48 hours.

Forts
Levels 1 to 10
Pay hourly gold to your capital and never decay. Defended by large armies, and only a Baron or higher can hold one.

Castles
Levels 1 to 5
The hardest fights on the map, with their own research and a wall of traps and turrets. They can never be held: win, and the reward lands at once. A beaten castle lies in ruins, then rebuilds.

Shrines
Alliance territory
Wood, stone, iron and food shrines, a Treasure Vault, Royal Mint, War Beacon and War Academy. Alliances capture them for bonuses and daily rewards.
