What kind of game is Prestige: Kingdom War?

A free multiplayer medieval strategy game for iPhone, iPad and Android. Every player’s cities sit on one shared 600 × 600 map. You build and upgrade cities, manage wood, stone, iron and food, train infantry, cavalry, archers and catapults, command battles round by round, join an alliance, and climb twenty titles from Civilian to King. Is it free? Is it pay to win?

It is free to download and play. Coins, the premium currency, are sold in packs. Here is everything they buy, and what they don’t, so you can judge for yourself:

Troops are trained, never sold. Equipment and title materials come from hunts, chests, the Daily Spin and the player market. VIP adds 10% resource production and extra daily rewards, but no attack or defense, and it doesn’t speed up building, training or research.

Which devices can I play on?

iPhone and iPad with iOS 15.1 or later, from the App Store, and Android phones and tablets, from Google Play. There is no browser or PC version.

Do iPhone and Android players play together?

Yes. Both apps connect to the same game server, so everyone shares the same world, chat and alliances.

Will other players attack me straight away?

No. Other players can’t attack a new account while it is under 7 days old, under 1,000 prestige, and hasn’t attacked another player. After that, one attacker can hit the same player at most five times a day. The starter guide explains it.

Do I have to stay online?

No. Buildings and training finish on timers, and your fields keep producing while you’re away, up to what your warehouse can hold. Battles are fought in rounds 30 seconds apart that you can command as they happen. Once beginner protection ends your city can be attacked while you’re offline, which is where walls, traps and an alliance earn their keep.

Can I play with friends?

Yes. Join the same alliance (up to 50 members), plan in alliance chat, and fight together in alliance wars and Alliance Attacks on castles. If a friend names you as the player who referred them when they sign up, you earn 1,000 prestige and 200 coins once they reach 3rd Baron, and 2,000 prestige and 200 coins for a second friend.

How do I keep my progress if I change phones?

If you started as a guest, secure the account from General, then Management, by setting a username, password and email; a task rewards you for doing it. Then sign in with those details on the new phone.

What languages is the game in?

The app comes in 19 languages: English, Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, Urdu and Vietnamese. Anything not yet translated shows in English.

Is there chat, and is it moderated?

There is world, alliance and private chat, plus letters. You can block any player, and the community rules apply everywhere, with mutes and other penalties for players who break them.

Who makes it, and is it still updated?
